Knowing what to say to a child or young person who has been bereaved is not easy, and can leave us at a loss for what to say, and what we can do to help them. All children experience ‘loss’ and with the sensitive support of their family and others they know they usually come through it successfully. All children will respond to loss and grief differently and may have many questions and concerns that they may share with you.
