Our focus this month is on sensory processing and provision which you can find out more about in our previous blog posts:

What is Sensory Processing?

Why is an Understanding of Sensory Processing and Provision Important?

In addition to our training course on sensory processing and provision, we also have a free resource that you can use in your education setting – sensory snacks and movement breaks.

Sensory snacks involve are a range of activities throughout the school day to help stimulate or calm sensory inputs, and to support children and young people in regulating their state of arousal as well as aiding concentration, focus and promoting self-regulation. The resource offers advice on who these snacks and breaks may be helpful for, what they involve, and a range of multi-sensory examples you can use with your children and young people.
