The School Psychology Service Ltd is a Social Enterprise founded by Dr Gary Lavan, a chartered educational psychologist.
We provide Educational Psychology support to primary, secondary and special schools across Wolverhampton, Staffordshire and the West Midlands and offer bespoke training, both face-to-face and via our online learning portal.

Each year we support our chosen local community groups and charities in the education, child and family sectors within the West Midlands and Staffordshire.

Wolverhampton Food Bank
Today in the City of Wolverhampton there are families and single people struggling to buy food and other essentials.
For people on low incomes, a sudden crisis can mean going hungry.
Youth Football Team Sponsorship
Keeping local kids engaged in positive extra-curricular physical activity.
Our sponsorship of a local Under 7’s football team allowed for the purchase of kit for the entire squad, and new training equipment and resources.
Wolves - Feed Our Pack
The Wolverhampton Wanderers ‘Feed Our Pack’ initiative: “We are looking forward to linking up with different food banks across the city, and greatly expanding our work to reduce food poverty which began before Christmas”.
Sustainability
Each month we are making great contributions to the climate emergency.
Every one of our practitioners has their entire life’s carbon footprint offset because they work with The School Psychology Service.
The carbon footprint includes practitioners’ time at work, business travel, and their time outside of work.
